There's not much more that can be added to the accolades that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have received for their various clothing lines. Post-Full House, these two consistently design collections that very stylish people are dying to wear.

If you still only associate the Juicy label with a track suit (admittedly, it's an image seared into our collective conscience), it's time to reacquaint yourself with the brand and all of its diffusion collections that fall far outside the purview of velour sweats. With the angelically glamorous Erin Fetherston installed as the creative consultant and its ongoing, contemporary-priced Bird collection, Juicy is quietly re-working its image and offering a range of clothing and accessories for those who want more than plushy loungewear.

Considering just how many clothes I own, I too often feel that my entire wardrobe is boring. It's not that I don't like what I have, it's just that I sometimes feel like every single item strikes the same very specific note (can anyone else relate to this?).

I think we've all witnessed plenty of examples of designers deciding to move on from their namesake collections leaving a new team to be installed that completely forsakes the DNA of the brand. Happily, this was not the case at Cynthia Steffe when, in 2007, Steffe left and British designer Shaun Kearney took over as creative director.

If I had to name the pieces I can't live without, I would list: dresses I can wear both to work and out at night; interesting skirts I can pair with simple tops and sexy shoes; a perfectly-cut blazer; a thin leather jacket; a slouchy sweatshirt; and stripes of every, well, stripe. Celebrity stylist Andrea Lieberman must have similar wardrobe needs because those types of pieces comprise the bulk of her fantastic year-and-a-half old A.L.C. collection.
