Pharrell’s Grammys Hat Is Enormous—And Has The Twitter Account To Prove It

Once in a great while, a celebrity steps out on a red carpet wearing something so major that it warrants its own Twitter account. Remember #AngiesRightLeg?

At tonight’s Grammys, the apparently ageless Pharrell stepped out in a surprisingly casual ensemble of a red leather track jacket and jeans—topped off with one of the largest hats we’ve seen, well, ever. A cross between the traditional hat worn by Canadian Mounties and the red ten-gallon featured in the Arby’s logo, it quickly—unsurprisingly—spawned its own Twitter handle, @Pharrellhat. In just a few short hours, the handle’s already racked up well over 5,000 followers—and it’s growing fast. Let’s just hope the same’s not true of Pharrell’s actual hat—if that thing gets any bigger, it’s going to need its own seat.

So what do you think? Is Pharrell’s hat the most meme-worthy topper since Aretha Franklin’s inauguration bow behemoth?

Clearly, the similarity between Pharrell’s hat and Arby’s wasn’t lost on the fast food establishment.
