PHOTO: Gisele Bündchen Poses Topless In Her New Modeling Gig
We are smack dab in the middle of a Gisele-aissance, people. She never really left, I guess, but it has been a while since Bündchen’s been as ubiquitous on catwalks and campaigns as she is right now. Just a month after Chanel No. 5 tapped the supermodel to be its new face (and four months after she closed Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show), she has a brand-new gig, and it's one that notably used to belong to a certain Kate Moss: yep, Bündchen's the new face of Stuart Weitzman.
That’s right: the luxury shoe brand replaced one iconic supe for another. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Moss’ two-year contract expired and instead of extending it, it was offered to Bündchen. It’s all good on the Moss front, though, as she’ll be headed back to David Yurman—ironically, a campaign which Bündchen once held.
“Gisele [is] such a seasoned professional,” Weitzman told WWD. “She exemplifies the Stuart Weitzman woman with her zest of life, love and family.”
Lensed by Mario Testino, the campaign offers a certain amount of sexy—as in, toplessness—while focusing on the brand’s boot offerings. We’re focusing on the boots, sure, but we can't help checking out Bündchen’s flawless physique. It never gets old, does it?
