Pure NV BKT Versatility Smoothing and Curling Potion, $30, haircarechoices.com
I don’t have frizzy hair, per se. But every so often—if the weather is extremely dry or extremely humid; either way, extreme is the key—it gets less together. Less shiny, less ... coherent. This leave-in cream (it’s sort of a conditioner, sort of an anti-frizz styler) is billed as a one-day keratin-ish treatment. And I’m sure if I blew my hair dry, it would look super-straight and shiny, as in a keratin treatment.
Since I do not blow-dry my hair, this just calms it down, puts it back together and makes it fabulously shiny and soft. It’s natural, which, in the keratin/anti-frizz arena, is practically unheard of, plus it’s sort of faintly purple, a shade known for its ability to subtly color-correct brassiness. It takes two seconds to run through your hair after the shower, and the resulting perfect hair could not be more worth it.
