Shop the Five Best-Selling Fragrances of 2012
If you're not giving the gift of scent this year, you're probably receiving it. At least according to a recent study by the NPD Group. (The market research firm says 17 percent of shoppers have already purchased fragrance as a holiday gift, and 14 percent plan on purchasing it, even if only for themselves.)
So it seems I'm not the only one who reasons that, even though I can't afford a Chanel handbag, I can afford the brands' fragrances. And therefore I can at least a) smell like a person who has a closet full of quilted bags or b) imagine myself gallivanting through the streets of Paris, intoxicating every man I pass, with just one spritz.
The study also shows that Chanel remains king of the fragrance world, with three of the brands' scents included in the top five of best-selling prestige fragrances of 2012. Also on the list is Giorgio Armani's Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme and Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue. Click through to shop!
