Oscar de La Renta Pre-Fall 2013: All About the Wavy, Longish Bob

I've been straightening my hair for years, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. But every once in a while, I see a really great curly style that makes me rethink my strategy.
Yesterday's Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2012 runway show was one of those times. Stylist Brian Buenaventura crimped the models' hair into a wave that nearly reached curl status, without coming off as too wild or out-of-control.
"I prepared the hair first by applying a texturizing spray. Then I used a 1 inch curling iron, vertically applying the iron in an 'S' formation, section by section," he told me today over email. "This creates a wave that looks natural and beautiful."
It looked especially good on the models with long bobs. I want to look like that.
