COUPLES RETREAT
The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort
The fantastic thing about Aruba is that no matter how hot it gets, the trade winds make everything feel unbelievably pleasant. You sort of just want to lie in the white sands and let the crystal-blue waves wash over you like you're in a sexy music video. The spa at this gorgeous, oceanfront resort recently underwent a complete renovation, and everything from the treatments themselves to the locally-sourced products (like Aruba Aloe) they use is phenomenal. Plus, there are plenty of muscle-and-tension-melting treatments for two, like the Zoia Spirit Ritual ($350 each for 2 hours), a soak in a luxurious, oversize bath infused with native herbs and oils to soothe your skin followed by a customizable massage.
TREAT YO SELF
Dorado Beach, A Ritz Carlton Preserve, Puerto Rico
Opened in the middle of December, this plantation-turned-resort is 15 miles from the buzz of San Juan and sits on 1400 acres of lush, tropical forest. It's the perfect spot to escape by yourself: Order room service from the on-site Jose Garces restaurant, take a dip in your private deck plunge pool, read an amazing book under the shade of a palm tree on the beach, go for a hike on the Rockefeller Nature Trail. And most importantly—book a massage...in a hammock...in a treehouse ($200 for 60 minutes).
GIRLS WEEKEND
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach
The perfect combo of pampering and partying—you can stay out until 5am dancing at Liv and meeting plenty of suave, Miami bachelors, then hit the super-luxe Lapis Spa the next morning for a total hangover-helper of a treatment. The Bleau Detox ($220 for 80 minutes) includes an eighty-minute hydrobath, seaweed wrap, and then a rigorous massage, so you're good as new, and ready to do it all over again (book with Melva—her hands are magic). Bonus: it's a short cab ride (on the same street) from The Webster, a shop that everyone at Lucky is totally obsessed with, and where you can pick up a new Eres bikini to look totally chic on the beach.
