10 Beauty Trends to Try Right Now

It may have seemed like bare faces ruled the runways this season, but it wouldn't be Fashion Month without bleached mohawks, glitter embellished eyelids and oxblood anything. Click through below to see the top 10 beauty trends—both the subdued and not so subdued—from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

Faux Hawks

In Paris and Milan, bleached faux hawks were all the rage, making appearances at Fendi, Haider Ackermann and Jean Paul Gaultier. The Fendi style (pictured here), was actually created with fox fur. That's about the chicest mohawk I've ever seen.

Bold Lips

Vivid pink, purple, orange and red pouts acted as an accessory this season. Click here to shop the exact lip colors used at shows like DVF, Marc by Marc Jacobs and more.

Side Swept

Some may call it comb-over-esque, but if Dries Van Noten and Kenzo—to name a few—put their stamp of approval on the look, I'm in.

No-Makeup Makeup

A little here, a little there and not much else. Learn how to get this natural look here.

Floating Eyeliner

Mod is a major fashion trend this spring. The look won't be complete without some Twiggy-inspired liner as seen here from Rag & Bone's fall show.

Matte Nails

Nearly all of the nail looks that Deborah Lippmann created this season employed her matte top coat, Flat Top. Get it here!

Slick Hair

Your mornings just got so much easier. According to Prada, Marni, Dior and Oscar de la Renta, wash and go is the way to go.

Oxblood Nails

Oxblood/burgundy/reddish brown/reddish aubergine—whatever you want to call it—was the most popular and one of the few nail color shades seen on the runways.

Embellished Lids

This is the second season in a row that Chanel added glitz to the eye region (last season it was the brows), but the brand wasn't alone. We saw glittery eyes at Thakoon and House of Holland, too.

Low Slung Ponys

Easy and polished. To recreate this sleek look, spritz the hair with L'Oreal's Elnett Hair Spray—the same stuff hairstylist Anthony Turner used at Chloé.
