My devotion to the hot pink Volupté Sheer Candy gloss from YSL has only intensified. Fittingly, YSL has come out with a slightly more intense version, Volupté Shine, which has a touch more pigment (making it longer lasting, with more of a cream, less of a see-through sort of texture).
Not that I’m giving up the original! I start the day with the Shine—I feel it is slightly more subdued and thus more appropriate for, say, a 10:30 am meeting. Then I graduate to the Candy as the day (or night) wears on … the Candy is sheerer, so sexier. Though really, for a full-on night out I do a base of the Shine again, then (again) touch up with the Candy.
