To the Beach

Aside from sunscreen, the only makeup you really need to wear at the beach is a lip balm with SPF and if you're like me, mascara. (I don't like to be seen without it.)

BUT—and here comes the remixing part—why not add a swipe of aqua-colored eyeliner? It's waterproof and will make you look like a goddess of the sea. I vote "yes."

For a Weekend Activity or a Day of Sightseeing
You're likely going to be wearing sunglasses, so make the lips the focal point. But don't forget about staying hydrated. For you, water and for your skin, this coconut water-infused blush by Josie Maran.
To a Wedding or Special Event
Perfectly flushed cheeks, a hint of pink on the lips, a brown smokey eye (during the summer, brown is the new black) and naturally tanned skin make for a clean, pretty look.
For a Night Out
For sweaty dance floor/bar situations, you'll want a look that's minimal but still has some drama. So basically, it's all about the eyes.
Start with a shimmery cream shadow as a base and layer turquoise shadow over that. Next blend a bronzy brown onto the outside corners of the eyelids for a smokey effect and swipe on a ton of mascara.

You'll also want to apply a bronzing luminizer on your arms and legs because a natural glow goes great with a party dress!
