How to Make Your Eyes Look Farther Apart

The following is a guest post form our friends at The Beauty Department.

It’s nothing new to lighten the inner corner of the eyes; we remember reading Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces in 1995, where he explained how he noticed children’s inner eye corners were so light and bright and how when we get older the area gets darker and darker. For years we added white shimmer eyeshadow to the area to brighten them up, which more than did the job. But maybe too much?

So instead, we now recommend using a matte white pencil to line your inner eyes. It's subtler and more modern, and it'll not only make you look more awake but also make your eyes look farther apart in that doe-eyed, eastern European model way. And who doesn't love that?
