The following is a guest post from our friends at The Beauty Department.

In the world of runway beauty, there are more than a few braids with which the fashion world has fallen in love. There was the Valentino side braid of Fall 2013 fame, and the Oscar de la Renta braided chignon from Spring 2014. But earlier this year, it was a Rodarte braided up-do that ruled the catwalk. This half-up, half-down look only takes a few minutes (with practice!), and looks super pretty with any femme ensemble. All you'll need are a few clear elastics, a one-inch-barrel curling iron, a light hold styling spray and some bobby pins that match your hair color.
