After Jin Soon Choi's crazy-busy New York Fashion Week creating the nail looks for Tibi, Derek Lam, Vera Wang, Marchesa and Karen Walker's shows (to name a few), she still managed to find the time to launch an adorable, '50s-inspired Spring 2014 polish collection. I couldn't help but notice the cute names of the new shades ("Dolly Pink" and "Cherry Berry" were my favorites)—and it turns out that all her time spent hanging out with models backstage sparked an idea for her spring colors. "I was inspired by the pop culture movement and fashion of the '50s and asked some of my favorite model friends like Edie Campbell and Ashleigh Good to help name these polishes to give them a fresh spin," says Jin Soon.

Fashion-wise, it looks like this season will have tons of throwbacks—and we love that retro style is also making an appearance in the beauty world. Jin Soon's collection contains two cool polka dot polishes, which you can layer on top of any of the other colors to really give your nails that '50s feel. Below, check out the look that Jin Soon's nail experts created for me using Cherry Berry with Polka White on top—so fun!
