Are you curling your lashes right? Click through for tips we learned from legendary makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen.
Place your mirror at or just below your chin so your eyes are looking down. This makes it easier to position the curler—you don't want to pinch your skin!

For best results and to avoid damage, curl your lashes before applying mascara.

Gently squeeze the curler at the root of the upper lash line and slightly tilt it back in the direction of the curl. Hold for a count of 10.
To add drama, pulse the curler from the base of the lashes through to the ends. When your mascara is completely dry, give the roots a last, quick squeeze.
