Undercuts are one of those impossibly cool, slightly offbeat trends that I wish I were brave enough to try. I mean, how badass did Rosario Dawson and Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer look on the Comic-Con red carpet last week with their half-shaved heads?

It's not just that the style is the kind of thing that could otally overpower the rest of your look, but the growing out process really makes me nervous. Without extensions or a professional hairstylist on speed dial, things could get weird.

Luckily for those who, like me, are too timid to get buzzed, celebs like Jessica Alba, Kristen Stewart and Cara Delevingne have demonstrated that there are plenty of ways to get in on the trend without the commitment. Click through above for ten faux undercuts that are almost as cool as the real thing.
