Dewy Gorgeousness in Under 4 Minutes

Chanel makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua gives us four steps to the natural, pretty, almost-criminally-easy-to-achieve look she's famous for.

1. Glowy Skin

Spritz on rose water for an initial dose of moisture, then smooth cream over your face and neck. "You'll get this toned, luminous effect after a minute or so—half the time people don't really need foundation," says Bua.

2. A Subtle Smoky Eye

"I love espresso liner," says Bua. "It's way better than black, I think, and there's nobody it isn't flattering on. You want it soft enough to use on the inner rim of your eye—and waterproof." Wiggle your liner right into the lashline, all the way around—then draw a cat-eye-ish wedge that extends from the outer third of your eyes.

3. Defined Brows

Rub a little of the same liner on your ring finger and glide it over each eyebrow: "It gives a really amazing, faint tint—just enough to make your brows look polished."

4. Sheer Berry Lips

Swipe on a balm with a bit of color—Bua's favorite is this pomegranate shade from Burt's Bees—and you're done.
