If singer Jessie Baylin is missing before a show, check the parking lot. "Vans and buses have the best lighting for putting on makeup," she says. "Especially the passenger seat." The 24-year-old does her whole look herself—in moving vehicles, dressing rooms, and hotel bathrooms, wherever—usually with little time to spare. "It takes ten, twelve minutes, tops," she says. Her look, a cross between Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks, requires more energy in the hair department than anything else: "I have decent skin, so I do a soft lip and a stronger eye and I'm good to go."
