Ashley Madekwe

Hailing from London Ashley Madekwe is fast becoming one of today's most exciting up and coming young actresses.

Ashley currently stars in ABC’s highly successful drama Revenge playing ‘Ashley Davenport’ which creator Mike Kelley wrote for her.

Ashley made her official US debut starring in CW's drama The Beautiful Life alongside Mischa Barton, Corbin Bleu and Elle MacPherson.

She landed her first film role in Lennie James's Storm Damage as a teenager, after which she won a place at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She graduated from RADA in July 2005.

Despite a classical training and significant body of stage work, Ashley is most recognised for her television roles. Most notably she played Bambi in the Secret Diary of a Call Girl shown in both the UK and the US. In the UK, she has played leading roles in W10 LDN, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Trexx and Flipside and Raising Baby Rio to name a few.

Her film credits include; How To Lose Friends and Alienate People (Dir. Bob Weide) Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (where she played Ewan McGregor's girlfriend, Lucy) and Venus (Dir. Roger Michelle).

Her theatre credits include: 93.2FM (Royal Court), The Indian Boy (Royal Shakespeare Company), Prayer Room (Edinburgh Lyceum/ Birmingham Rep), Flight Path (Out of Joint/Bush Theatre) and Little Sweet Thing (Hampstead Theatre)
