What Mascara Are You Most Faithful To?

Lashexact_mascara_1

Despite the incredible number of new mascaras being introduced everyday, somehow I always return to CoverGirl LashExact. In fact, I can no longer imagine mascara without a rubber brush. Does anyone else agree that the rubberized brush technology has changed everything?

I don't know if it's the brush, but Lash Exact IS definately the best mascara I've ever used. It puts "Great Lash" to shame(tho I never understood all the hoopla over that stuff-it always clumps!)All the new mascaras(lengthening fibers!; vibrating brushes!)are very tempting, but anything else I try is usually just a waste of $$. The Lash Exact is coming in colors now too I think-those I will try. BTW Simone-if I may call you that-I always love your "Cute outfit of the day" outfits- you have great style!

Nothing works for me like Diorshow. I've tried all the drugstore brands, including the revered Great Lash, but I keep coming back to Diorshow. It sucks to pay $24 for it, but I can't find anything else to match it. A few swipes make my teeny-tiny lashes look super thick.

My new fave is Lancome Virtuose. I don't know why it took me so long to try it, but now I don't know how I lived without it. Truly the only mascara I have tried that keeps a curl!

yes! I recently tried the rubber brush at a friends house for the first time and I loved it! now I can't use my old mascaras-in the trash they go..

Totally... the rubber wands are the solution to clumping issues I've had with other mascaras.

I really like the rubber wand feature as well, it defintely helps with any clumping issues.

I am dedicated to Bourjois' Coup de Theatre mascara...Every once in awhile I convince myself that it's time for a change because there must be SOMEthing even better out there! I am always sadly disappointed in the mascara with whom I "cheat"....I think we (Bourjois mascara and I) might be married now but I'm not totally positive.

I have to agree with the rubber wand making a huge difference in applying mascara. I'm a big fan of Cover Girl Lash Blast - definitely makes them look fuller. I also love Clinique's High Definition Mascara which is great for lengthening lashes.

Girl please! Mascara is the bain of my existence. My lashes are long, but I'm always left wanting more. I've recently become addicted to Chanel's Exceptional mascara that combines brushes with rubber bristles. I love it but hate paying for it. I'll try your suggestion and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info! ps- I agree with "jewelz" - you always have cute outfits.

Mascara is the only thing that matters in a woman's make-up bag. If I were stranded on an island my covergirl mascara would be the only thing I would want with me (that and maybe some fries)

I agree with GoldenGirl- I live in my new Chanel Exceptional. I love the consitency of it and the brush/comb combination leaves me with clump-free lashes all day (and all night and the next day for brunch!) Love your blog!

For volume, I prefer Diorshow or old favorite Loreal Voluminous to any of the Covergirl or Max Factor rubberized wands.

I haven't tried it, but I will. Mascara is the one necessary item always. I've tried everything else, and I'm still not happy.

Rubber brush? I didn't know such a thing existed...I'm definitely looking into this - thanks!

I didn't believe it- but it's true. Cheap mascara is best! I have tried them all. And I have always LOVED covergirl. But take it to another level? No way! They have done it again!

GET a purple tube of this heavenly wonder, and never be mad at mascara again!

I LOVE the Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara. I started using their first product with the rubber brush, then switched to this one when it came out. It's great. The rubber brush really does make a difference. They really do reduce the incidence of clumping, although it does sometimes happen. I will never use a regular bristle mascara brush again. And if they ever decide to discontinue these products for any reason I don't know what I'll do. I recently tried one of their new glitzy mascara colors, too. I don't remember the exact name, but it's Lash Blast in an iridescent green-tinged black. Not really sure it makes any kind of additional impact, but it's fun to know I'm wearing something other than plain black.

I have blond lashes that aren't too long. i also strive for a "not made up" look. So, I find maybelline's "intense XXL volume + length" to work really well. Use the white side first to define and lengthen the lashes, then when that dries, add the black. i do not have any issues with clumping doing it this way, and i have no idea if it is a rubber wand or not!

I's most faithful to DiorShow, without a doubt, it's the best. My second favorite it Prescriptives False Eyelashes Plush.
