Top Coat

I just ordered this shrunken military-inspired olive green peacoat from New York-based Gryphon, which I couldn't be more excited to start wearing. The proportions are perfect: It's slim-fitting with flatteringly narrow arms, which can be difficult to find, particularly when it comes to coats. I love the mix of classic details (epaulets, tortoiseshell buttons) with a sleek, updated silhouette. If you like the style but want something slightly less understated, the decorated peacoat, which is a cotton version of the same jacket with metallic crest-like embroidery on the sleeves, is a chic option.
