Big Apple Dreams

Curious things happen to me in the summer. There are so few clothes to put on, you really want to make each piece matter; and to keep from getting bored, I often find myself picking bold-to-the-point-of-garish things just because I can.

Take apple necklaces. I think this idea originated years ago from an episode of Sex and the City (maybe Carrie? probably Carrie). Anyway. I really want an apple pendant. I want to pair it with plain white tanks and big skirts. I want to wear it in a pile of chains with slightly stuffy linen shirtdresses (opened maybe one button too far?). And last, I want to combine a tiny, longer style over a pretty, flowy maxi dress.
