Back-to-School Shopping
I haven't been in school for a long time, but when August rolls around I still want to freshen up my desk and shop for supplies like ... unicorn-embellished Trapper Keepers. First stop is Lillian Vernon, a catalog that I had a huge crush on as a child (you could get your name on everything, and I have always been a sucker for a monogrammed anything).
I still love their primary-color pencil sets, which you can get embossed in gold with your full name. So chic, and yet they're only $5 for 12. A lot of companies have attempted these over the years, but they've never matched the value. And then, because I can't resist a zippered bag (in my mind they always double as makeup-brush holders), I want this one from the Savannah College of Art and Design in collaboration with Barnes & Noble, which clocks in at $6.
