What I Want Now (But Can't Wear Till Later)

I know I'll regret this later, when it's actually cold and I'd do anything to feel the sun on my shoulders, but in my head I can't stop fast-forwarding to things I want to wear this winter. The latest sign of this is my preoccupation with this knit trapper. Historically, I don't wear hats. But I'm determined not to freeze this year, and this is so cute (without being too cutesy) that I'm rethinking my position. It's a cool twist on a usually outdoorsy style, made of soft Peruvian alpaca that looks cozy but still sleek, and the pom-poms hanging off the earflaps add just the right bit of playfulness.
