More Frenchie Stripes!
Just when I thought I was all set, my friend Sam e-mailed me yesterday to tell me about her latest purchase. It's a super-soft, stretchy jersey dress from American Apparel that's basically just a longer (and totally brilliant) take on a traditional Gallic tee. It comes in a bunch of colors—navy and white (which Sam opted for), black and white, and red and white—and it has pockets. It's perfect for travel, since it's made of a wrinkle-proof cotton-poly blend, would hardly take up any bag space, and works year-round. It's also so easy to wear in lots of different settings—with flats and a blazer it's tame enough for the office, but with heels and a statement necklace it'd be great for cocktails. Oh, and it's $41. I'm literally buying up today.
