Adventures on Dog Bathing
I always have the good intention of bathing my dog between grooming sessions. Much like my good intention to go running or join a yoga class, the baths never happen. But after my dog became the unfortunate landing site for some pigeon poop on her morning walk, I was left with no choice and no excuses. I had impulsively purchased (full of good intentions) a bottle of John Masters Organics dog shampoo, named—ironically enough—Dogpoo. A fan of John Masters for some time, I was delighted to see that his pet shampoo is just as amazing as his other products. My dog's fur was the softest and shiniest it's ever been. And she smelled amazing for days after the bath—like fresh eucalyptus leaves.
Optional conclusion: I considered trying it out on myself until I noticed a key ingredient was citronella (intended to ward off fleas and other insects). I'll stick to my usual John Masters regimen and leave the Dogpoo for my dog.
