Yet Another Unfair Biological Disadvantage; Thanks for Nothing, Universe Creator
A new study from the University of Colorado has found that women's hands house WAY more bacteria on their palms than men's do, and a greater variety of germs. Researchers don't know exactly why, but they have some pretty lame suggestions, amongst them: Women "often" apply moisturizers and cosmetics. Or have "variable" hormones. Or have "different hand-washing regimens."
So, there it is. All the more reason to quit touching your face.
