Shop Sephora with a Beauty Editor

People are always dragging me into Sephora to help them choose beauty products. I love Sephora—who doesn't?—but A) I am prone to freaking out in stores, and B) as a beauty editor at Lucky, I work in an uncannily Sephora-like environment many hours a week. "Plllleaaase," I always beg the friend/sister/mother who is on her knees examining every shade of Nars eyeshadow. "I don't feel well. I think my blood sugar is low. I might faint. I think I'm going to have a panic attack. I'M HAVING A PANIC ATTACK!"

I am, however, totally obsessed with sephora.com! I go on it every day, and I am happy to help anyone shop there for hours. Today I've picked three random items that I love love love:

Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet

All of the Mercier kohl eyeliners are awesome: not too greasy, but creamy enough so the pigment always goes on dark dark dark. I love this one, which is black with a hint of purple. Many Lucky editors are big fans.

Bliss Vanilla + Bergamot Body Butter

This is one of my favorite smells! Plus the lotion is one of the richest you can get, and satisfyingly gloppy. The Vanilla Bergamot scrub is amazing too—it claims to have real particles of actual vanilla bean in it.

Clean Shower Fresh Rollerball

I wear practically every fragrance from this line, but Shower Fresh is one of my favorites—it smells like shampoo and bar soap and ... water, somehow. I like this portable version because you can keep it in your bag and dab it on to smell amazing and newly showered at any time.
