Discounts and Free Music at Banana Republic

I wandered into the big Banana Republic store at the Grove in L.A. the other weekend, and I was bowled over by the current season's offerings—there was a ton that I wanted to buy. Online, they've created a whole under $100 category, and have posted a slew of accessories that I didn't see in the store. I'm particularly obsessed with this old-school belt, which is actually elastic (useful AND comfortable!)—it looks like a great vintage find. The work separates have a nicely edgy vibe too, like this asymmetrical blouse and poufy tulip skirt. And, bonus: They have a big music-related program going on right now called City Stories—free downloads (including exclusive interviews and unplugged performances) from musicians like Liz Phair, Ayo, and OK Go. So you not only get free music tracks via iTunes with purchase, but you can save 20 percent on a purchase of $100 or more when you enter BRMUSIC at checkout.
