Quail: Our New Office Obsession

It started with the tank I wrote about from basicboutique.com: Now beauty editor and fellow Lucky blogger Cristina Mueller and I have been e-mailing about Quail daily ever since, egging each other on to a full-blown mania. The line's aesthetic hits a feminine/modern note that's just so right, and the pieces all feel special but still practical enough that

you'd be able to get tons of use out of them. And the prices are comparatively reasonable. Both of us are now lusting over this emerald green tiered skirt ($160). The color is intensely saturated, and in silk it gets a hint of sheen that makes it a great option for evening, but it works for day when paired with something simple up top. The same ruffled racerback tank I mentioned

last week also comes in this solid Breakfast at Tiffany's pink ($130). And there's this boxy denim mini that I can already imagine myself reaching for every day this summer ($173). Also, for tucking into anything high-waisted, there's this chic nude bodysuit ($165) with an elaborately ruffled collar.
