Okay,
those tops from this morning? Well, well, well. They are from an awesome little eBay store called Neon Life Vintage. I love this shop for two simple reasons: 1.) They sell stuff that manages to feel on-trend, but still totally unique, and 2.) The bidding starts super, reasonably low (eg this
slinky little secretary dress and
a spring coat which is an amazing

marriage of '60s mod and nautical stripes--the starting bid for both is under $10). Put Neon Life on your favorites list now, own cute stuff later!

I first stumbled across
The Carrotbox a number of years ago, when a

friend who is allergic to metal (yes, such allergies exist!), asked me for some good jewelry resources. This web store only deals in lucite, plastic, glass, resin, etc., which made it a bit of an accessories lifeboat for said friend. And everything here is super well-priced, too: Maybe I'm nuts, but I really like the leopard print of
this ring, and all the great colors of these
faceted glass options.

In case you missed it in my Web Pages section of the May issue of the

magazine, I am really, really smitten with these trompe l'oeil t-shirts that the Metropolitan Museum is putting out. I have the
Egyptian collar version, but I think I want the
Calder one, too (which also nicely coincides with the Calder inspiration page that's also in Lucky's May issue). While clicking through their site, I stumbled on this
Faberg?? ring, which is really, really stunning—and $75! Need a last minute

Mother’s Day gift? This might be the ticket.

Q: I'm really pale and naturally blond. Consequently, my eyelashes

are almost white. The problem is, unless I'm also wearing darker shadow and liner, mascara looks sort of unnatural on me. Is there any lighter mascara that I could wear on days when I have on less makeup?
A: A few options for you: Paul & Joe is coming out with a double-ended mascara—one side is a comb; the other a traditional brush—and there’s a lovely shade called “D’Or”, which is a bronze-gold-taupe (it’ll be sold on
Beauty Habit). Jane Iredale has
Longest Lash Mascara in Dark Blonde. I also love
Almay’s Intense i-Color Mascara in Brown Topaz. And, coming in August, YSL will have a grey mascara that is amazing. Let us know if these are too dark for you—we’ll keep looking!

I'm intrigued by these sandals I just spotted on the website for Athleta, Gap's recently-acquired active apparel brand. With their molded cork soles and rubber bottoms, I imagine they'd be super-cushioned and easy to walk miles in. The black patent leather gives them a bit of dressiness, and the delicate straps are a whole lot more feminine and stylish than anything else that falls into the comfy, good-for-your-feet category. Available
here for just $59!

The
lines to get to Topshop's newest designer collaboration with Barbara Hulanicki, the creative force behind '60s and '70s cult brand Biba, are going to be huge: The collection's a perfect blend of retro (bold prints, swingy dresses, and the like) and totally fresh. Sidestep the line and watch the
