Am I Wrong to Just Give Up?
Maybe Mueller is right; maybe not everyone can wear red. Maybe there really is a group who can and a group who can't. I'm convinced I fall into the latter, be it for a lack of braveness or perhaps poorly-defined, wonky-shaped lips? Whatever it is, I've been trying something a little darker, much more subtle, and the perfect blend of '90s and now: berry. I like this look more blackberry than raspberry, and done in a sheer stain, which keeps it from looking too goth. The best are CoverGirl Lipslicks Lip Gloss in Edgy and Laura Mercier's Mulberry lip stain.
