On Corset-Style Dresses and Cathy Cartoons
Do you ever feel totally bored with yourself? Like you're in a Cathy cartoon and just want to yell "ACCK! Why am I trapped in this brain?" Well, I've been feeling this way lately about my style limitations, particularly how I am terrified of my own cleavage. See, I want to start rocking corset-style strapless dresses, but after the tube-top debacles I lived through in my 20s, I'm afraid. And this fear makes me angry. So, that's it. Today I am purchasing a sexy strapless number like this, this, or this, and I will wear it with a lightweight cardigan and tights and heels. Next up (hopefully): An empowering, "facing my fear" report.
