Am I crazy or are these awesome?

I am pretty much always in the market for statement-making shoes. Offbeat colors, odd fabrics, unexpected trims—I’m a sucker for it all. But I desperately need open-toe ones that I can wear in the city’s sticky summer heat. I’ve just found these in Nordstrom’s BP section. With the navy and yellow rope straps, they’re vaguely nautical (always one of my favorite looks) and I kind of love the crazy, swirling print on the heel. I think they’d work for day or night, with cotton shorts or a short, flirty dress...but what do you guys think? Too out there—or out there in a good way?
