Cheating on eBay: My khaki dress dreams

Years ago, while watching a rather lewd episode of Sex and the City involving a politician and a shower , I spotted a khaki dress worn by Carrie Bradshaw that I knew in myheart I had to have(full disclosure: admitting thatI glean style inspiration fromSATCalways makes me feel somehow embarrassed and cliché, but, you know, it happens). amazingly chic and a bit like Jackie O. I have been searching for a dress like this on eBay for--wait for it--nine years. No dice (I even won a dress that looked like this, but it was all sorts of wrong.) Then, on Friday, I wandered into my local Brooklyn Industriesand found this on the sales rack. It's not the same thing, but it achieves the same sexy-sophisticated urban-safari effect. I loovve this dress.
