Impulse Buy (I'll Share Mine If You Share Yours)

I hardly ever buy anything spontaneously—for me, coveting something is half the fun—though in the midst of my insomnia this morning, I broke my own rule. I stumbled on these sequined Antik Batik sandals on La Garconne's website and the combination of shiny sparkles on flat sandals (I really do live in these all spring/summer) was too much to resist in my semi-conscious-at-5 AM state. The weather is finally warming up again in New York City, and I can't wait to wear them with laid-back pieces like my battered denim mini, and the batik sundresses I picked up last fall in Indonesia. While not cheap at $185, the price doesn't seem egregious for something as beautifully embellished and totally wearable as these. So now I'm curious: what's the last thing you guys bought on a lark?
