I'd been musing about the sudden appearance of Fjallraven Kanken backpacks (waxed totes from Sweden)—which I've noticed in a significant number of NYC boutiques this past few weeks—when lo and behold, Kristin of BleachBlack is all over them. They're a pretty excellent size, particularly if you're looking for something that can hold a laptop, and they're made in tons of cheery colors. Besides Opening Ceremony, Assembly New York also carries them in tons of different versions (and it just went e-commerce, so check it out).
