A ray of sunshine on a rainy day

If you live in NYC or its surrounding areas, the weather these past couple of weeks has been less, "come to the park for a wonderful day out" and more, "how about we stay in and catch up on The Real Housewives of New Jersey ?" And if the weather forecasts are to be believed, this weekend is going to be a rainy one. Having a full social calendar this weekend, I for one simply refuse to stay in and ruin two full days drenched with potential, so I set out looking for the perfect "keep me dry" accessories.

It turns out there are many well made printed umbrellas out there, which not only keep you dry, but also brighten up the day with their funky prints. With so many options out there I settled on the Marimekko print brollies, which suit my budget (under $100) and are just the right size. As July cover girl Becki Newton says, "summer is the one season when you can get clothes and accessories without spending tons of money!" Amazing!
