When I met singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin last year (I wrote about her on-the-road beauty regimen in the October '08 issue), I immediately got all "Single White Female" and vowed to copy everything about her. She's that cool. Best shag haircut EVER. Best BALENCIAGA ever. Watch the video and you'll see.

ANYWAY, when we were both in New Orleans last month for Jazz Fest, I visited Jessie's hotel to rummage through her clothes and grill her for music festival packing tips. (FYI, the guy in the background is Jessie's rockstar fiance Nathan, the Kings of Leon drummer. He watched "When Harry Met Sally" with the sound off the whole time. Amazing.) Watch and learn!
