Toned-down Neon

I grew up in the 90s which means I inherently love neon and couldn't be happier that it's made a comeback. But with age comes caution, and as tempting as it is, I can't throw on fluorescents with the same reckless abandon I did the first time around. It can be difficult (maybe even contradictory) to find neon pieces that aren't too loud or wildly overbearing in an outfit; but Frank Tell has managed to figure it out. He has done an amazing job creating neon pieces for the more timid among us (myself included) that are still fun and just bold enough. I think the color choice is key and his silk chiffon dresses in ultra violet and cobalt are a great way to wear neon without drowning in it or feeling like you're wearing a highlighter.
