How To Wear Cropped Boxt T-Shirts

I've recently become obsessed with cropped boxy tees. I'm really into my latest purchase this American Apparel scrimmage shirt in grey. I love the athletic feel, and it's so comfortable. These tops are a little tricky to wear but my most successful outfit so far has been pairing the shirt with a high-waisted pencil skirt like this one. The slimness of the skirt balances out the boxiness of the top. I like to pair it with some black ankle boots and a long pendant necklace for a casual downtown look that you can still wear at night.
