I noticed the oddest thing this weekend: several of my 25-year-old friends are breaking out one-piece bathing suits. And these are girls who log unpleasant hours in the gym for enviably flat stomachs, so it's not an attempt to hide soft midriffs. Instead they’re choosing black one-pieces like this, because, they argue, it's a more refined version of sexy, in an alluringly womanly way. This suit definitely reads sophisticated, but I’m still so surprised these girls are covering up. Are my friends just aging themselves or is the one-piece in full-on comeback mode?
