The best pair of shorts ... from a surprising source!

Like almost everyone else on the Lucky staff, I have my issues with shorts, especially for city weekends (too sporty or too unflattering or just not cool). Surprisingly, I've found a pair that are slouchy enough but not too sloppy at, of all places, Gap kids. These boys' pattern patchwork shorts come up to size 18 so you can even buy them a bit baggy and roll them up. The pattern on this pair is dark and kind of sophisticated. I'd throw them on with a gray tank or even a boys' white v-neck. They feel just right for brunch, shopping, or just walking around.
