Under $25: Black denim leggings

Last week, commenter Pomellyop asked for a good resource for budget-friendly, legging-like black denim. Her quandary being that she's tired of buying jeans that are too tight in the thigh or too loose in the calf. While our resident denim expert Noria Morales swears by surf brands like Volcom and Roxy for inexpensive, well-cut jeans, her favorite super-affordable legging resource is actually a junior brand called Tyte. I love this dark rinse cropped pair, though it looks like this other option is true black. I would probably hem them to above the ankle, too. Have any of you tried this brand before?
