Beauty Psychosis Disorder?

A gathering at the water cooler got Cristina and me off on a tangent (as it often does). Our shared hatred of people stepping on our pastel Rachel Comey oxfords led to a heated discussion about our other neuroses. On the days I wash my hair, I make an active effort to veer away from anything that could potentially cause my hair to smell bad. It’s quite a sight to see me intentionally run 50 feet around the Halal food carts and hot dog stands so that the fumes don’t seep into my freshly washed hair. I also have a fear that automobile exhaust clings to my moisturizer and instantaneously ages my skin. My solution: I use my jacket to cover my face every time I walk into oncoming traffic. I tell myself I'm creating a protective barrier. Am I crazy? Am I the only one out there with serious fashion and beauty neuroses?
