Like most women in New York, I'm addicted to dark-colored clothing. Months ago, I found myself having to dress for a party with nothing remotely clean to put on. I threw on this super-bright electric pink dress and headed out, thinking it might just be too much. But I received so many compliments--from 'You look so tan' to 'Wow, did you lose weight?' And I met my future boyfriend that night.
