Etsy: The stars and stripes are big and bright...well, maybe just the stars.

I'm feeling all patriotic today and excited about the three-day weekendand it's making me want to buy things that look American, in a very literal, flag-type way. Even though this might be dorky, I've always secretly loved stars as a design element (perhaps not as much as the girl who had 56 of them tattooed on her face, but a lot). So naturally I'm drawn to this awesome recycled-sail pillow, which would be perfect in a punk-rockish loft or at my future dream beach house. I'm also into this delicate star necklace, a peachy-pink pair of star heels, and this nautical-looking dress, which fits the bill because it's made by someone named Jenn3star, but also because I believe it would be an adorable outfit for Fourth of July.
