Gorgeous Resort Collection: Vera Wang

Vera Wang is calling her resort collection "Calypso meets Intermix" and while I'm not in love with that description--more like Barneys meets Bird (my Brooklyn favorite!)--I love love loved the collection as a whole. One of my favorites of 2010's resort season, it was filled with bright flowing colors and mix-and-match layering pieces. I can see myself in the black satin shorts paired with the sheer tops from almost every look. Though her prices can sometimes induce sticker shock, her silhouettes are timeless and each new season is filled with pieces I want to mix with my old. Just yesterday I wore a Vera Wang tunic from three seasons ago that still feels new every time I put it on! Definitely worth the investment. See the whole collection here.
