Mystery solved at Anthropologie.com
always irritated me a lot that they refuse to reveal the designers behind the pieces featured in their catalogues and online. I'm not sure if it's an official policy, but I wish they would attribute their items prominently, since I, for one, always want to know, particularly if I'm familiar with a label's fit. Also, the company is named Anthropologie, so you would think they'd be all too concerned with an item's provenance. Right? Occasionally they let it slip in the title, like in the case of this pair of J Brand jeans (on sale for $100) but otherwise it's all a mystery...until you hit Search at the top and get a laundry list of the otherwise-hidden tags. Who knew that they have Rachel Comey shoes (we featured this pair in the magazine, and now they're 30% off) Mara Hoffman tunics, Zachary Smile dresses, necklaces by Lydell NYC ($38), and Dear Creatures rompers ($98)? Maybe everyone made this discovery ages ago, but I'm so thrilled!
