Shirt Worth Getting in Every Color: Gap Men's Button-Down

It must have been reading, on this blog, about Elise's over-the-top love of men's button-front shirts that subliminally convinced me that there's a shortage of them in my wardrobe. My post from the other day about wanting a men's tux shirt was just the start. For the past couple of days I've thinking about how I can't live another weekend without a slouchy men's shirt to throw on over little tank dresses, skinny rolled-up jeans and now, with the stretchy denim tube skirt I bought at Urban Outfitters last night. One of the few good things about working in touristy Times Square is that there's an enormous Gap, right across the street from our office, that opens at 9 AM. I've bought my boyfriend tons of Gap shirts but I've never actually tried the men's shirts, myself. I can't believe it took me this long to discover their absolutely perfect fit. I took a bunch into the dressing room and while they were all pretty much just what I was looking for, the dream one was the the fitted two-pocket shirt. I bought the white which they seem to be out of online, but I love the midnight navy and the bark, too. I didn't see those in the store but I think I may have to run back at lunch time.
