The Accessory That Brings on Summer Flashbacks (And I Want In Every Color)
Remember friendship bracelets? I was the expert on them in junior high and high school, happily spending hours after school braiding and twisting gorgeously hued combinations of thread together and giving them to my most prized BFFs. I would wear 15 to 20 of them stacked at a time (some of which I admittedly gave myself.) I loved, loved everything about them.
I was clicking through LaGarconne's new arrivals today and came upon what can only be described as the grown-up friendship bracelet, by Alyssa Norton:strands of either royal blue and white silk thread, or black andsilver, braided together just like in the old days but with an addedsterling silver chain. Even though they're pricier than they were onthe playground at $99, I'm totally splurging on one. Well, maybe two....
